2-Factor Authentication (2FA) is the method of securing your account with additional layers of security. You must use a strong password and activate Two Factor Authentication (2FA) on sites or apps that hold sensitive, confidential, or financial information. To enable 2FA on your coinpass account, follow these steps:
- Access your account: Begin by logging in to your account.

Find the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Section:
- Move your mouse cursor to the menu in the top-right corner, and click on Security.
- Click the Two-Factor Authentication option from the left navigation pane.

Enable 2FA: Look for a button Secure Now within the 2FA section and click on it.
- Choose and Install Your 2FA App: You'll likely be given a choice between different authenticator apps. Popular options include:

Scan the QR Code:
- After installing the app, open it and look for an option to add a new account.
- Your account settings should display a QR code. Use your app to scan this code.

Link Your Account:
- The authenticator app should automatically recognize the code and add your account.
- Some apps might ask you to enter a short code that appears alongside the QR code.
- Click Next in your account settings.

Enter Verification Code:
- Your authenticator app will now generate a six-digit code that changes every 30 seconds.
- Enter this code into the field provided in your account settings.
- Click the Secure Now button.
- Completion: You are all set. Your account is now secured with 2-Factor Authentication.
